We are all alike and unique in our own ways. What better way to show children all of the ways that we are alike and different than with the All About Me unit of study. Learning Centers are a great way for children to explore their interest based on the unit of study. It also gives them ample time to visit and revisit to build on their mastery. This week we have been working really hard on our observations so that we can complete our DRDP's and small group time is a great way to observe children. FREE Weekly Lesson Plans

Well I’m back for another year of Peer into My Week. The first week of school we are easing into our school life by learning the routines. Group Time Is all about
Center Time During center time we grouped children into groups and rotated around to each learning center, every 20 minutes. During our time in each center we modeled how to use items, how to ask for what they want or need, how to share items and what to do when they hear the cleanup bell. Small Group During small group time we are taking the time to introduce children to certain learning tools that they can find in the classroom environment.
