Week 1 At School

Well I’m back for another year of Peer into My Week.

The first week of school we are easing into our school life by learning the routines.

Group Time

Is all about

• How to Greeting Friends
• How to Washing Hands

and

• How to make good choices

Center Time

During center time we grouped children into groups and rotated around to each learning center, every 20 minutes.  During our time in each center we modeled how to use items, how to ask for what they want or need, how to share items and what to do when they hear the cleanup bell. 

Small Group

During small group time we are taking the time to introduce children to certain learning tools that they can find in the classroom environment.

Planner

I was able to keep it all together with the Teachers Dream Planner.  This planner allows for me to keep everything in one spot.  Even notes from our first Teachers Meeting.
