Week One Little Red Hen

This week we begin our study on what it means to be a friend and I love using the Little Red Hen to help me teach children how important it is to help one another. 

We read two different versions of the Little Red Hen and then we compared the differences between the two.

The children enjoy review all of their colors with the review color around the room.

​We have been humming with assessments this week and these small group activities helped us with those assessment needs.

The children counted and sorted apples.

We practiced rhymes with baking up rhymes game. 

We began introduce beginning sounds with all of the Little Red Hens friends.
