It was a crazy packed full of excitement kind of week. We started the week off with a quick trip to a local pumpkin field. Not a commercial pumpkin patch but a field of a local farmer that let us come out and help pick pumpkins for our classroom use and to use as a fundraiser for our family fall festival night. Music ThursdayChildren were given the opportunity to play on a very large drum. After play the drum they got to sit under the drum as others played so that they could see and feel the beat. Family Fall Festivaland lets not forget all of the classroom activitiesChildren mixed paints to create a pumpkin still life. Building fine motor skills with pinching activities. This year my little ones really need a lot of work on their fine motor skills so we have been doing a lot of pinching, strings and peeling activities to build their hand muscles.
