We had so much creating our project about what we would like to be when we grow up. First we reading the book When I Grow Up.
Children create a paper doll craft that would represent them when they grew up.
Each child wrote on the prompt sheet. Word cards where provide so that they could easily find and write what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Your parents will enjoy finding their little ones project and chance are they will be taking a picture of it.
This project is a fun way for your little ones to share a little bit about themselves.
My students love spending time in the letter and word center during our schedule work time. Since they do spend so much time at this center I have to change the activities every few weeks to ensure that they are getting what they need from that center.
Here are a few of my students favorites that I have included in the Learning Letters packet to help you keep up with the high demands of your letter and word area.
This is the time of the year that we need to spice up some of our centers to grab their attention and keep them engaged.
So with that being said...
