Super Friends

Learning about making friends and being a good friend with Super Friends.

Group discussion about what Super Friends do.

We created a class Super Friend book by taking each child's picture like they were flying through the sky like a Super Hero.

We used large craft sticks, permanent markers, washi tape and scraps of fabric to create our Super Friends.

Our children used their new Super Friend dolls to practice their new skills of being a good friend. We practiced how to take turns, ask for something, join a group in play, how to help one another and how to ask if they can us something.

This week a has been a Super Friend week of success.

Thanks for sharing your ideas, plans, and much more. Would like to recreate a superfriends book - how did you make the class book? Would you mind sharing the steps.

I laid down a blue sheet on the floor and placed construction paper skyscrapers on top. We added white clouds to the top with pillow batting. Laid the children on the floor and took pictures from a ladder.

Then I used power point to create the book. I used my smart board to read with the children, but you could print it out and bind it into a book.
