Have you ever walked by a dumpster and saw something that you wanted to rescue. Well that is what happened to me. from dumpster to The old overhead projector cart is now our new much need mobile journal writing cart. All it took was a little paint and some hooks. We drilled a few holes on the side used some screws with nuts to attach the hooks with and hung some of the Target dollar section storage buckets to hold writing tools in. We placed number and letter rings for directional writing. On top we placed a wooden desk organizer that holds picture word cards, textile letter cards, sight word cards and children's name plates. As the children arrive they find their journals and write with friends. This has been a fabulous addition to our classroom the children look forward to sitting or laying on the carpet and writing with friends. We are creating a community of writers. Grab Your FREEBIE
Next time you walk by a dumpster you never know you could find a diamond in the rough.
