Do you dread opening up your sensory table during worktime?

Let me share a little secret with you, all you need to do is place some squares on the ground around your sensory table and provide your kiddos with small brooms and dustpans.
Picture
These squares will serve two purposes.
  1. It give children a place to stand around the table.  This will provide each child with their own personal space.
  2. It give children a place to sweep their mess to for easy clean up.  Have children clean up their side of the sensory table by sweeping up everything that was spilled during their play.  Encourage children to sweep to the square and then use the dust pan once they have everything swept there.

Now be brave take those lids off your sensory tables, your kiddos will be glad you did.

Spice up your sensory play with this FREE printable list that you can add to your plan book.  It will make planning your next bin a snap.
