Where the magic begins

It's a New Year

With every New Year comes a time for new goals.  This year my personal goal is to loose 10 lbs., but I don't want to go on one of those crash diets.  The plan instead is to change one of my bad eating habits each month.  The goal to loose one pound a month. Loosing one pound a month sounds so much better than loosing 10 pounds in 10 weeks.

Changing one bad habit at a time for the snowball affect.

Here is the plan

Picture
January
Use Erin Condren life planner to keep me on track and motivated.

Picture
February
Switching one meal for a Fruit/Vegetable meal drink.
Orange and Banana Drink

Picture
March
Switch 20 minutes of computer time for 20 minutes of hard core workout time 4 days a week.

Picture
April
Start drinking my coffee black.
My son keeps telling me that I am missing out on all of the flavor the coffee has to offer when I put all that creamer in it.

Picture
May
When I go for a bag of chips I will be grabbing a bag of carrot chips instead.

Picture
June
Switch hamburger meat for ground turkey meat.

Picture
July
No snacking after 8:00 PM

Picture
August
Eat more raw foods.

Picture
September
Tip myself every time I workout so that I can treat myself to a new outfit when I meet my goal.

Picture
October
Build in more strength training exercises into my weekly workouts.

Picture
November
Switch two meals a day with a fruit or vegetable meal smoothie.

December
Follow my At Home Fitness pinterest board to see what I am trying out to keep me fit and health.

What are your New Year goals?

Hi Tami,
I enjoyed looking around your blog and love your new lifestyle goal. I know the older we get the harder it is to get it off. For me, it's at a snail's pace so good luck.

Boy Oh Boy! do I hear you about the snail pace. When I was young I could just think loose five pounds and pow it would be gone, but not so much now. Thank you for your words of encouragement, I will need them.

Tami
