Down by the Bay Week 1

Recap of our Week

We are wild about wild animals and the children wanted to start our wild animal unit off with sea life.  So off to the ocean we go.

We transformed our sensory table into an underwater experience.

After singing the song octopus some of the children wanted to know what a tuna fish looked like so they could make one in the art studio.  You can see the picture they printed behind the paint.  The creative process is amazing to watch as it unfolds.  
They were even singing as they were creating.  Priceless!

Can you guess what they are making?  If you look closely you will find the clue.  I can't wait to show these off when they are done. 

Small Group Activities
