Graphing with Gingerbread Cookies
Let your little ones taste a gingerbread cookie. Graph where they take their first bite.
Each child gets a uppercase letter mat and a basket of gingerbread lowercase letters. Children draw a gingerbread from their bask and find the matching letter, placing that gingerbread on the mat.
Beginning Sound Letter Match
Children are given a beginning sound letter matching mat and a set of gingerbread letters. Children identify the beginning sound of each picture and place the letter that makes that sound on top.
Counting Syllables with gingerbread boys. Each child is given a cookie sheet sorting mat. Children pick up a gingerbread boy, identify the picture and how many syllables. Next they place the gingerbread boy on the mat.
Once children have finished sorting gingerbread by syllables they use a dobber to finish worksheet.
