What I love about Teacher Appreciation Day

​I don’t know about you but I love when a little one comes in with a smile and joy in their heart to hand you a hand drawn picture of them.  As they hand it to you with a small little voice saying, “I love you teacher.”   This just makes my day, week, month and year.

It makes my day when a child walks in holding a wilted little flower in their hand, holding it out to you saying, “I picked this for you.”  Taking it from their small little hand smelling it and telling them how it made you feel that they took the time to pick a flower just for you.  Going together to find a jar that we can put it in with water and place it in that special place.
