When I Grow Up Class BookOur little ones had so much fun creating their craft project that we thought it would be fun to make a class book about what they would like to be when they grew up. They loved hearing the book at group reading time and in the book nook to friends. Community ArtWe had the children create building that represented places that they go to in our community. Love this one because our Target and Mall are right across the street from one another. Building Literacy with Block PlayBringing their writing skills to the construction zone. Children named the building that they were creating in the block area. Freebies Just For You

What will you be doing to make the whole card thing go easy peasy? Guided DrawingDemonstrate to children how to draw a turkey using simple shapes and lines. Roll and CountHave child roll a dice and identify the number on the dice, next have the child count out the number of feathers to match the number on the dice. Once child has the right amount of feathers have child place the feathers around the body of the turkey. When turkey has all its feathers child is done. With this number game all children are winners. |
